Initially designed as the spec engine for National Muscle Car Association’s new LS Stock racing class, the DR525 is the perfect choice for spec-class racing or if you just want to update your bracket-racer with an electronic fuel-injected powerhouse.On the inside, the DR525 crate engine is built out with components designed to meet the high standards of competitive racing. The 376-cu.-in. aluminum block is packed with a sturdy reciprocating assembly that combines with LS3-type rectangular-port heads to deliver a 10.7:1 compression ratio.
