Description We really like the Turbo Tuff I-Beam line from Manley. We have never been able to break one, even over the 1000whp mark, and they hold up well to extended abuse. They are probably the strongest rod for the money and we suggest them to anyone who wants to sleep well at night knowing they dont have to worry about their rods being a weak link in their high power build. Manley Rod Bolt Recommended Torque w/Manley Lube: 45 ft./lbs. Recommended Rod Bolt Stretch w/Manley Lube: .0058″-.0062″ The Manley Pro Series I-BEAM rod has become the benchmark for fully machined/billet style high end connecting rods in the performance industry. Manley Pro Series connecting rods are forged from aircraft quality 4340 vacuum degassed material. Each rod is fully machined in the Manley Lakewood, NJ factory to the highest standards. Our signature “Turbo Tuff” design combines the appropriate weight and rugged strength for ultimate horsepower applications. Each rod is shot peened after machining and magnafluxed. Bores are round and without taper. Bend and twist is tightly controlled. Cap fasteners are 3/8″ APR 2000 cap screws or they are available with ARP 625 fasteners.
